Content You Upload

We store equipment manuals (PDF files) that you upload, along with extracted text, metadata, and AI-generated summaries. This content is associated with your workspace and is not shared with other users.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you use the service, including AI questions asked, pages visited, and feature usage. This data helps us improve the product.

Payment Information

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.

  • Supabase -- database hosting and file storage
  • OpenAI -- text extraction analysis, embeddings, and AI Q&A
  • Stripe -- payment processing
  • Resend -- transactional email delivery
  • Vercel -- application hosting

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

  • With third-party service providers listed above, as necessary to operate the service
  • With other members of your workspace, as part of the collaboration features
  • When required by law or to protect our rights

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), workspace-level data isolation, and row-level security policies. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@manualvault.io. You can export your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings.
